Can the presentations be downloaded?
The presentations can be accessed by signing in to watch the live or recorded presentation. The URL to watch each presentation will be provided at least 1 week before the start of the presentation. While slide decks will be available to download, accompanying audio will not.
In what format are the presentations?
The presentations are being delivered through a webinar platform called ON24. Specific technical requirements are listed below on this page. The presentations do not include live streaming video. Rather, the presentations consist of the slide decks used by the presenters and any supporting materials they may have.
When is the material available?
Since the presentations are available live and on-demand, presentations are not available until the given live presentation start time for a specific topic. Times differ between presentations, but all presentations will be made available during the week of August 7 – 11: the week of the symposium. After the live presentation is completed, the recording will also be available within approximately 30 minutes of the live presentation end time. These can be viewed at your convenience.
What if I can’t attend a specific presentation within a track due a scheduling conflict?
Your track purchase includes access to the live and recorded version of each presentation within the track. The recordings will be made available within a couple hours from the end of the live presentation.
How do I access the tracks I purchased?
At least one week before the start of the event, you will receive emails confirming your registration for the specific live presentations within each track. These emails will include the URL to access the specific presentation. This same URL can be used to access the presentation recordings after the show is complete. The emails will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
What’s the refund policy?
A $50 (USD) processing fee will be charged for registrations cancelled prior to 10 June 2017. For cancellations between 10 June and 10 July 2017, a 50% refund will be given. There will be no refunds after midnight EDT on 10 July 2017.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
No. Each ticket purchase provides access to 2017 EMC+SIPI ONLINE events only to the name and email address listed as the attendee during checkout.
Can I transfer my ticket purchase to another individual?
Yes. If you’d like to transfer your ticket to another individual, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “2017 EMI+SIPI ONLINE Ticket Transfer Request” and a body that includes your current registration information and the name and email address of the individual receiving your ticket purchase.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes. If you’d like to update your registration information, please send us an email at email@example.com with the subject “2017 EMI+SIPI ONLINE Registration Update Request” and a body that includes your current registration information and the updates required.
